Purpose and scope
These Terms of Service apply to KommuneUdvalg, provided by DevSection ApS (CVR 44310074) to municipalities in Denmark.
KommuneUdvalg is designed for managing committees, members, memberships, roles, and related administrative master data.
Ordering through Azure Marketplace
KommuneUdvalg is offered through Azure Marketplace. Ordering, billing, and subscription setup therefore follow the process and commercial terms tied to the relevant Azure Marketplace offer.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the subscription becomes active when the municipality completes the order and the necessary resources can be established in the municipality’s own Azure environment.
Isolated deployment model
Each municipality receives a separate deployment of KommuneUdvalg in its own Azure subscription. Customer data is not shared across tenants, and each municipality controls its own environment, access model, and security configuration.
Data ownership and customer responsibility
The municipality owns its data in KommuneUdvalg and is responsible for:
- having a valid legal basis for the data entered into the solution
- managing users, roles, and access rights appropriately
- configuring and operating the relevant Azure resources in its own environment
- ensuring lawful use of integrations and imported data
- meeting its own internal requirements for security, retention, and documentation
KommuneUdvalg’s role
We develop, maintain, and improve KommuneUdvalg and provide support.
KommuneUdvalg does not access municipality data as part of normal operations. If a municipality requests technical assistance that requires access to its environment, that requires a separate agreement and explicit access granted by the municipality.
Support
Questions about the product, subscription, or day-to-day use of the solution can be sent to support@kommuneudvalg.dk or through the contact page on this website.
To help us respond efficiently, support requests should describe the issue and its impact as clearly as possible.
Changes, releases, and maintenance
KommuneUdvalg is updated on an ongoing basis with bug fixes, security updates, improvements, and new versions.
Where practical, material changes affecting functionality or use will be communicated through relevant customer channels.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in KommuneUdvalg, including the software, design, documentation, and product name, belong to KommuneUdvalg or its licensors.
The municipality receives a right to use the solution during the subscription term in accordance with these terms and the applicable Azure Marketplace order.
Limitation of liability
KommuneUdvalg is not liable for indirect losses, including loss of operations, loss of profit, consequential damages, or losses caused by the municipality’s own environment, configurations, or third-party integrations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KommuneUdvalg’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the municipality for KommuneUdvalg during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Suspension and termination
KommuneUdvalg may suspend or restrict access to the solution where necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse, or material breach.
When the subscription ends, the municipality’s right to use the solution ends as well, unless otherwise follows from the Azure Marketplace process or a separate agreement. The municipality remains responsible for its own data and for planning any export or further handling in its own environment.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by Danish law.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be decided by the Danish courts unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
KommuneUdvalg may update these terms if the product, distribution model, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this website with an updated date.
