Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- visitors to the public KommuneUdvalg website
- users of KommuneUdvalg as a SaaS solution used by a municipality
Data controller roles
When a municipality uses KommuneUdvalg, the municipality is the data controller for the personal data entered into the solution.
DevSection ApS (CVR 44310074) is the publisher and software vendor. We provide the product, but customer data is stored in the municipality’s own Azure environment, and we do not access that data as part of normal operations.
If your request concerns data entered by a municipality in KommuneUdvalg, you should therefore normally contact the relevant municipality first.
What data the solution may contain
KommuneUdvalg may contain data such as:
- member and alternate names
- contact details
- committee memberships
- roles and functions
- parties, categories, and other administrative master data
- relationships between people, committees, and terms
The municipality decides what data is entered and must ensure that a valid legal basis exists.
Where data is stored
Data in KommuneUdvalg is stored in the municipality’s own Azure subscription. Each municipality has a separate deployment, and data is not shared across customers.
KommuneUdvalg’s role and access to data
KommuneUdvalg provides the software, documentation, and support, but does not access municipality data in normal operations.
We do not use customer data for marketing, analytics, or any purpose outside the agreed delivery. If a municipality requests technical assistance that requires access, that requires a separate agreement and explicit access granted by the municipality.
Security
The municipality configures and operates its own Azure environment, including identity management, access control, networking, and other security settings.
KommuneUdvalg is developed with a focus on clear tenant isolation and a delivery model where the municipality retains control of its own data and resources.
Your GDPR rights
If your personal data is processed by a municipality in KommuneUdvalg, you generally have the rights available under data protection law, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability where applicable.
Requests about those rights should normally be addressed to the relevant municipality, because the municipality is the data controller.
Privacy inquiries
If your inquiry concerns this website or KommuneUdvalg’s role as publisher, you can contact us at support@kommuneudvalg.dk.
Cookies
The public KommuneUdvalg website uses only minimal cookies or similar browser storage where needed for basic operation, security, or form functionality.
The website does not use marketing cookies.
Data minimization
We encourage customers to register only the data needed for their municipal purpose. Each municipality sets its own retention periods and internal procedures in line with applicable rules.
Information received through the contact form or direct email is kept only for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the inquiry.
Changes to this policy
KommuneUdvalg may update this Privacy Policy if the product, website, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this website with an updated date.
